Low iron glass is a kind of glass with super transparency. It looks like crystal because of its low content of iron and impurity. Thus, low iron glass is also called ultra clear glass, extra clear glass, crystal glass, super clear glass, extra transparent glass, etc. The edge of the low iron glass looks very shallow blue.
The thickness of low iron float glass can be 3mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 19mm. The ultra clear glass cut to sizes are 8mm ultra clear float glass, 10mm extra clear glass, 12mm ultra clear float glass, 15mm ultra clear glass, 19mm crystal glass are very popular to be made of ultra clear tempered glass, low iron printing glass. Low iron glass is also popular to be made of ultra clear laminated glass, extra clear insulated glass and etc..
